One of my favorite space pioneers is Jules Verne. He is considered the father of modern science fiction. He wrote a book called From the Earth to the Moon. It was 100 years before a man had landed on the Moon. The characters in the book built and entered a spaceship. A large canon launches the capsule from Florida into space. The thing that interested me about Jules Verne was how he predicted the spaceship.
Would you go into space? I would not like going to space because I do not like heights. If I went up in to space a problem I would anticipate, is running out of fuel and not getting back down to earth. I would be able to solve this problem by bringing more fuel and refueling regularly on the ship.
