Science lesson 100

This week I decide to research the terrain on Mars. Some observations I had were that the patterns on it are weird. For an example, one type of terrain is the channel network. The channel networks are where the spider channels are from. The Spider channels look like little spiders in the terrain. There is one theory wear they might form a dense tangled network of twisting strands. The channels outline a lot of shapes. Mars also has craters. Craters have a bowl-shaped cavity in the surface. They mostly come from meteorites. One of my personal favorites is the Swiss Cheese terrain. There is a thin line of carbon dioxide ice layer on top of the permanent polar cap. This would make a good spot to build a Mars base.
