History lesson 180

What are two or three of the most important lessons you have taken from the history of inventions and inventors (this course)? Tell what the lesson is, why you think it is important, provide an example from one of our lessons (this can go all the way back to the 4th grade course if you want), and how you will try to apply it in your life.

The three most important lessons I took from this course is the Light Bulb for many reasons and examples, Mason Jar for many uses and safety , and the Airplane for revolutionizing the why we travel. Here’s a look at the light bulb.

The light bulb helped people a lot in deferent ways. Light has progressed a lot from gas lighting to electrical lighting. Thomas Edison made the first electrical light bulb in 1879. Thomas Edison revolutionizes the way we live today with his invention. The modern light bulb, is cheap, saves on labor costs, and gives of a lot of light. The light bulb helps us keep our buildings, houses, and business stay bright.

The second important lesson from this course is the mason jar. John Mason’s jar was invented in 1858. The jar was meant for canning food. The jar is made out of glass with a screw top metal lid. The jar helped improve the safety of home canning. John Mason helped people store food for a long time and help to make the canning process easier.

Finally, the airplane. The Wright Brothers had the knowledge of bicycles and applied it to make the first flying airplane in 1903. The airplane is ably to carry cargo and people very long distances. The airplane helped to improve shipping, traveling, business, and warfare.

This course had has a lot of great inventions and inventors, But I think these 3 helped the world in a huge way. I think these inventions had made peoples lives a lot easier. I had a lot of fun learning all this inventions and inventors.
