The country I chose to write about is Italy. There was a couple reasons but then main one were there culture. I love there food, music, and art. I have learned all about the country and people. But anyway let me tell you about Italy.
Italy has some great food. One of they most popular is pizza. Instead of slow-cooking tomato sauce like in the US, Italy uses olive oil, pureed fresh tomatoes, garlic, and oregano. In Italy they eat pasta almost once a day. The average Italian eats up to 51 lbs of pasta every year. Food is a big part of Italy’s culture.
In Italy soccer is very big sport. There team is one of the best in the world. They have won the FIFA World Cup four times 1934, 1938, 1982, and 2006. There also like to go to cinema. They still like watching TV, reading, and many of the things we like to do.
Some of the famous buildings in Italy. Are the Colosseum and Leaning Tower of Pisa. The Colosseum is an oval amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world today, despite its age. The Tower of Pisa is known for its nearly four-degree lean.
