Thutmose the 3rd
The pharaoh I chose to write about was Thutmose the 3rd. Thutmose reigned for 54 years that is from 1479 BCE to 1425 BCE. He accomplished a lot in his time. I will focus more the military side of things.
Many people considered Thutmose a military’s genius. Thutmose raided 17 towns in 20 years. That is almost 1 raid a year. All together Thutmose has raided 350 cites during his reign. Thutmose tactic was very smart. He would conquer town after town until his enemy has beaten into submission or forced to surrender. Thutmose improved weapons for his battles.
Thutmose stretched his empire from Syria to Canaan. When Thutmose was ruling Egypt I believe there were at there strongest. The reason way was because of its military. The reason I chose Thutmose the 3rd was because of his success and he was one the greatest Pharaohs.
