The benefits of natural and table salt
Many humans think salt is not healthy for you. That is correct but there is two different types of salt. There are table salt and natural salt. Table salt is worse for you than normal salt. Let me explain.
Table salt is processed, but it has the same amount of sodium as natural salt in weight! Salt stills increases blood pressure weather natural or not. Natural salt still has many befits such as carrying nutrients into and out of your cells, increasing the glial cells in your brain, which are responsible for creative thinking and long-term planning, and helping your brain communicate with your muscles, so that you can move on demand via sodium-potassium ion exchange.
Most table salt has added iodine. It is an essential nutrient that helps maintain a healthy thyroid (a gland at the back of your neck that holds your hormones). I’m well aware that this is only one health benefit compared to natural salt, but it’s still a health benefit!
In the end natural salt has more benefits compered to table salt, but that does not mean that table salt is not heathy. Eat both but not to much of it. Salt is essential to survive for humans. That is my advice.
