History lesson 175

Today my essay will tell you about how the Egyptians lived life. I will also explain how the amount of money you have will affect you when you are in Egypt.

Some of my favorite lessons where about Egypt because I really did love learning about how they lived life. I love how the Egyptians really put lots of time and effort into things they loved and how they thought of such cool things. It is also cool to know that the Egyptians have influenced the world so much.

The Egyptians were very religious with the things they did. The only person that had an ability to be call a god or say they are a god is the pharaoh. Another thing that was very important to the Egyptians was there after life. So before you actually die you have three options to choose for your burial.

1) You would have someone bring your body onto a table and pretty much, don’t read on if you are easily grossed out! Take out your guts and your brain through your nose then get stuffed. You would also have oil put on you so you could be presented in the center of Egypt for up to two weeks and everyone would get to say there last good byes. You would also get your own pyramid which you could build yourself and plan to keep all of your valuable items stored with you. This is mostly for the king only.

2)You would still get all of the things like the king except for the pyramid. This is for all of the rich people in Egypt. You could only be presented to family and friends for one week.

3) All of the other people in Egypt had to get this burial because they did not have enough money. You would have your stomach cut to get to the inside then you would have your stomach replaced with oil and stuffing. after this you would have one day for everyone to say good-bye and they would buried you.

They thought that when you die or get killed you are sent to the bad god named Hades. Once you are with Hades he would decide if you have been good in your life to go up to heaven, or you have done wrong and you would bee eaten by a three-headed dog that belongs to Hades himself. It’s a bit brutal.

I know there is a lot more to the Egyptians and how they live but, I hope you enjoyed it reading my essay.
