A lot of things used today are powered by alkaline batteries today. They are called a good “backup” battery and they are reliable. Although heavier things like cars need a little bit more powerful battery. Something like a 12 volt sealed lead-acid battery. Alkaline batteries only have 1.5 volts which obviously is not going to be enough to power the ignition coil in a car by any mean’s. But an alkaline battery delivers slightly more energy for little things and longer shelf life
Alkaline batteries come mostly have bulk packages of D cells, C cells, AA Cells, AAA, Cells AAAA ,cells ,N Cells ,9 Volt cells, and Button Cells. As one may have experience with batteries, one may know that most times batteries are placed in a row. This is because it increases battery voltage. For instance, if two AA batteries are placed in a row, they now make 3 volts.
Batteries power almost everything today. From cars, to toy’s, and laptops. Batteries have a huge position in the modern world. Fun fact, do you know that Alkaline batteries are found in almost every household’s. And that it would take 10,000 AA batteries to power a house. I hope you like my essay. Thank you for reading.
