Write 250 words on this proposition: “Online education is bad for society because it puts classroom teachers out of work.”
In the world today almost everything is going digital or online. But teachers are still in person, so what does this mean for society? Well, online education is a fast-growing option that may take classroom teachers out of work, so is online education bad for society? Let’s find out.
Well, online education would not totally put teachers out of work; it would hinder them. On an online schooling platform, only one teacher is needed to teach a class for a grade and subject. But in a school there is more than one teacher for a class and grade. Online schooling would not take away all of the teachers, but it would limit the teachers that can work.
Whether or not it is bad for society is up to you. I personally think that online schooling can be good for a lot of people, but I still think that some kids need to be in person to be able to learn. Overall I think that online schooling is good for society, but I could see how it is bad because it would take a lot of teachers out of work considering they don’t need them.
