Writing assignment:

Part 1. Write a one-paragraph answer for each of these questions:

What am I willing to settle for as having achieved one year from now?

In a year from now, I would have finished the Business I course and have a very good understanding of how to start and run a business. I would like to have a basic business startup, a website, and have the start of marketing for my company.

What am I willing to settle for as having achieved on my 18th birthday?

On my 18th birthday I would like my business to be a well-known business that is reliable. I would also like to have an income that I can support myself on and start hiring some employees to expand my business.

What am I willing to settle for as having achieved at age 25?

By age 25 I would like to have a statewide company. I would like to be making a middle-class income and be living in a middle-class home. I would still like to expand my business to maybe another state or two.

Part 2. Write 250 words on this: “How can the strategy of going the extra mile help me attain these goals?”

To achieve these goals, I would follow the principle of going the extra mile. Which means I am willing to make a special effort to do or achieve something. This is one of the most important, if not the most important, thing you can do to grow your own business. Going above and beyond is crucial, especially while trying to grow your own company or to move up the corporate ladder. Going the extra mile is a strategy I would use to grow my own business. This involves working with clients based on the principle of service. My goal is to be available for any need of the customer. I would want to put in the effort to work with them as much as possible. I would also want to pay attention to what they want. I could also even help them find what product they are looking for. Going the extra mile will not be easy, but it will definitely help grow and build my company for a great future.
