Choose a book that you read over the summer, or a favorite book of yours, and give an outline of the book based on the plot development points you have learned.
The book that I am choosing to write about is Amazing Fantasy 15 introducing Spiderman. It is a pretty short read, it is a comic book. But the storytelling in the book is quite good. I will start with exposition.
The book starts of the the wallflower Peter Parker and introduces some of the main characters like Flash Thompson, scientists, Aunt May, and Uncle Ben. The book leads to Peter Parker getting bitten by a spider. He soon learns he has the same powers, like climbing walls, super strength, sensing danger, and swinging from webs.
Now is the rising action. It starts of with Spiderman wrestling for money. It goes well the first few times. Then one wrestling match later a robber steals all the money from the wrestling match. Peter/Spiderman did not want to stop him. Peter said he was sick of getting pushed around.
The climax is right now. Peter learns that his Uncle Ben has been shot by the robber that he did not want to stop. Peter then hunts him down and by a stupid mistake ends up killing the robber.
The falling action and the resolution is kind of combined. Peter from now on will take his powers and learn to use them responsibility and only do good in the world. I hope you like my essay and enjoyed reading.
