Summarize the life story of one of the following:

This Essay will be about Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a Jew who was living in Babylon in the time of King Artaxerxes. Nehemiah was also very important in the kingdom because he was the king’s cupbearer. One day Nehemiah asked the king if he could return to Jerusalem for sometime, since he had heard rumors about it being rebuilt. After return the king allowed him to go back to Jerusalem for some time.
When Nehemiah got there he gathered many people in order to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. The walls were completed along with other important buildings in 52 days. The reason the walls were built so quickly is because he told the people to go to where they used to live and build their sections of the wall. After the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the Jews stayed in the kingdom for about 500 more years. Nehemiah was a special leader because he was in the right place at the right time and supported important causes. That is the end of my essay about Nehemiah.
