Write 250 words on this topic: “The ideal apprenticeship job, and why.”
This is a question that has slowly crept from the back of my brain as this class has gone on. I have thought about this question before: What is my first job, and why do I want it? My ideal apprenticeship would be in sales. I have watched my family go into sales, marketing, trades, nursing, and more. What really stuck out to me is sales. I have watched my father work in sales for many years and have watched my brother go into sales too. They both seem to enjoy it and learn a lot.
The reason I want to go into sales is because it will help me learn about the products I am selling, help me learn techniques for my business, earn a good paycheck, not waste a ton of money on a stupid college degree, allows me to be flexible in my job field, and have a good career progression. These are just a few reasons why I want to apprentice at a sales job.
With getting an apprenticeship for sales, I can start saving early for my business, slowly work on my business, and learn what to do differently and do the same. With getting an apprenticeship early on, I can be further along than many people my age.
